The three-day National level sports, techno-cultural youth festival of Rajdhani Campus 'AYAAN-2013' concluded at the central ground, Rajdhani Campus on 10th April; 2013, Thursday. IAS Officer Dr.Prathvi was present as chief guest and IAS Officer Mr.Naveen Jain was present as guest of honor on the occasion. Other dignitaries who graced the occasion with their presence were Mr. Ram Karan Bhakar (Chairman, Rajdhani Campus), Mr. Nitin Talesara (Director, Rajdhani Campus), Dr.Awadhesh Kumar (Principal, RITM) & Prof. Manish Tiwari (Director-Academics, Rajdhani Engineering College).
AYAAN-2013 started on 8th April, 2013 with the inaugural session. The day started with different types of sports like cricket match, football match, badminton, kabaddi, table-tennis, basketball, volleyball and team from all around the state and country participated in these sports. On the same day, A workshop on photography was also conducted by Mr.Himanshu Vyas, Chief Photographer, Hindustan Times Mr. Himanshu enlightened the photography enthusiasts present in the workshop with different aspects of photography. Various technical and non-technical competitions were organized like robotics war, robo race, robo soccer, rangoli, face-painting, mehndi, poster making, technical paper presentation. Evening of the first day was graced by colorful performances of the students on stage in Singing and Solo Dance competition.
Similar kind of activities took place on the 2nd day of the fest, the day started with the workshop on RJing and communication by RJ Mad Mast Vikas of Radio Mirchi, Jaipur. Several competitions like bridge-o-mania, quiz, project development, business plan and more were organized by the students. Different graceful performances were given by the students on the stage in Fashion show and group dance competition held in the evening of the second day of AYAAN.
Final day of AYAAN-2013 started with Antakshri followed by Just a Minute (JAM) competition which was very much enjoyed by the students and the staff of the campus. After JAM, National bike stuntman’s amazed the students with their stunts on bike. The function concluded with the stage performance of Indian Idol Season 2 winner Sandeep Acharya. Students tuned in to songs sung by him and enjoyed the evening.
25 competitions under music, dance, theatre, fine arts, literary, technical and sports were held on the occasion from April 8-10, 2013. Major highlights of the festival were group dance, stuntmania, workshop on photography and RJing, performance by Sandeep Acharya, robotics, sports and several other programs.
